This match is at 11:30 on 6 September 2020. After this first match, they play twice more in this location. The first is on 9 September at 15:30 hours against the Rotterdam Rhinos. The final match at this location is against the Edinburgh Rocks on 12 September at 15:30.
The final location for the Euro T20 Slam is in Dublin, Ireland, at The Malahide Cricket Club. Here, the Glasgow Giants play the Rotterdam Rhinos at 15:30 on the first day, 13 September, 2020. They follow up this game the next day at 15:30 against the Dublin Chiefs.
The Glasgow Giants then play three more games in this location before the semifinals. They compete against the Amsterdam Kings at 15:30 on 15 September, the Belfast Titans at 15:30 on 16 September, and the Amsterdam Kings again at 15:30 on 18 September. There are quite a few matches in a short period of time, but hopefully they can play through to the end of each game so that they are able to compete in the semifinals and then hopefully in the grand final match.
While that is their last scheduled game, fans and players alike hope that the Glasgow Giants will make it to the semifinals as well as to the Grand Final. There are two games in the semifinals, and they are held at 11:30 and 15:30 on 21 September. The next day, a Sunday, is set aside for the Grand Final match. While the teams competing obviously won’t be chosen yet, if the Glasgow Giants do make it this final match, then they will play at 15:30 hours. Good news for cricket fans around the world, information about the team squad has been released. This information has been announced today after the successful draft ceremony held in London today where many International stars have participated and were present at the draft ceremony.
People do know that each team will have nine local players on it, which means that the Glasgow Giants will likely have some local favorites competing. In addition to the nine players that you already know and love, there will be a maximum of seven players from overseas. The nine Scottish players are sure to be welcoming to their international teammates, and together, they are sure to create a cohesive team that is powerful and ready for competition.
As soon as we have more information, we will update Glasgow Giants ‘ team squads. Whether the draft will happen like PSL or the open bidding will happen like the IPL for the combination of team squads is not yet clear. One thing is clear, however, that each franchise can get a maximum of 16 players with 9 players from Scotland’s local talent.
