The Lanka premier league auction is scheduled on the 19th of October which is only days away in which hundreds of local and International stars will go under the LPL auction hammer. Sri Lankan Cricket Board has postponed the LPL auction twice and after heavy consultation with the Government, they were able to confirm the Lanka premier league 2020 auction date.
SLC today unveiled the Lanka premier league logo 2020 which has a great roaring lion theme which represents the Sri Lankan Culture and attitude towards the game. The LPL broadcaster IPG has come up with the Lanka premier league logo and they tried to showcase the Sri Lankan heritage in the country’s premier T20 competition.

LPL Official Logo Explained
The management of Lanka Premier League decided to use Red and Orange colors in the Lanka premier league logo which are inspired by historical Kandyan paintings and Sigiriya Frescos of Sri Lanka while the blue and yellow as we all know represents the colors of Sri Lankan Cricket. The logo also depicts that the Lanka premier league auction player list will have some great Champion players like Lion and Lion is also the national symbol of Sri Lanka which is shown on the national flag of the country as well.
LPL 2020 Venues
The official venues of the LPL will be announced in Lanka premier league 2020 auction ceremony in a few day’s time but as per the sources, the league will be played at two beautiful venues of Sri Lanka namely Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy and Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota. The LPL 2020 will be played in a 15 day period where five franchises will compete against each other to win the inaugural trophy of the Lanka Premier League.
