The County Championship 2021 is going to be the 121^st edition of the tournament. It is one of the oldest cricket tournaments still being played. Eventually, 18 teams take part in the championship with one coming out on top. Essex won the County last year and will be defending their title this time.

If you are wondering that when were County Championship 2021 fixtures released, then the complete schedule was announced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) back on December 17^th, 2020. So, the first match of the championship will be played on the 8^th of April. As a matter of fact, there will be 9 matches taking place on the same day.
