Euro T20 is the first league to be played across the multiple countries of Europe like Ireland, Netherlands, and Scotland. This league is the collaboration of cricket boards of Ireland, Netherlands, and Scotland. There are 30 matches to be played in this league and 10 matches will be played in each country (Ireland, Netherlands, and Scotland) and 3 knockout and one grand final match will be played.
Euro T20 launch
Cricket Ireland announced new league Euro t20 slam today match at the start of 2019 in cooperation with cricket Scotland and the Koninklijke cricket board. Six teams will compete in the inaugural season of the Euro T20 slam whose semi-final matches will be held on 21st September and final will take place on 22nd September.
Teams playing in Euro T20 slam
There are a total of six teams playing in this league and each country will be represented by two teams. There will be six international players and nine domestic players in each team. The list of teams that will be playing in the Euro T20 slam league are:
- Dublin chief (Ireland)
- Belfast titans (Ireland)
- Edinburgh rocks (Scotland)
- Glasgow giants (Scotland)
- Amsterdam Kings (Netherlands)
- Rotterdam rhinos (Netherlands)
Ireland, Netherlands, and Scotland are the three countries that will be hosting this league. 30 matches will be played in this league and out of those 10 matches will be played in each country. First 10 matches will be played in Netherlands stadium VRA cricket ground, Amstelveen. And the final will be played at Malahide cricket club ground Ireland.
This season of Euro t20 slam will be played in three cities one from each country. The cities are Amstelveen (Netherlands), Edinburgh (Scotland), Malahide (Ireland). All the cricket fans are excited about this new league and seeing the growing number of fans officials are thinking about increasing the cities to entertain more fans.
